Each client is entitled to a one-hour consultation. Consultations are educational in nature and are designed to inform the client about alternative hair — what they can expect from it, how it is worn and cared for, and what its limitations are.

During the consultation, your wig master will provide a detailed description of the wig or topper being considered, including how it is constructed and what that means for day-to-day use. You will also receive guidance on fiber options, the expected lifespan of the piece, and a realistic timeline for wear and replacement.

The cost, brand, and name of the wig or topper will be openly shared with you. Please note that Foxy Hair Alternatives does not service any wig or topper purchased from outside vendors.

A deposit of 50% of the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) is required to place an order. When a deposit is collected at the time of the consultation, the $75 consultation fee will be waived. The consultation fee will also be waived at a later order date, even if the client does not order immediately following the consultation.

Please be aware that deposits are not collected on back-ordered items. For back-ordered pieces, only the consultation fee applies at the time of booking. Full payment for back-ordered items will be collected at the fitting appointment, at which point the consultation fee will be waived.

A fitting appointment will be scheduled approximately 10 business days (two weeks) after the consultation. The purpose of this appointment is to allow the client to confirm the correct color, length, and style of the wig or topper, try the piece on for fit and comfort, and learn proper care techniques including recommended products and application methods.

Upon accepting the wig or topper, the client will be required to sign an Acceptance of Product statement. A written care sheet will be provided at this time for your reference.

A 30-day return policy applies exclusively to manufacturer's defects. This is the only return offered once a purchase has been completed.

By signing the Acceptance of Product statement, the client acknowledges and agrees to fulfill the purchase in its entirety. All sales are considered final once the Acceptance of Product has been signed and the wig or topper has been altered or customized.
